When we established Viamax Consulting, Sylvia and I wanted to base our efforts on a theme that would represent us personally and also that would represent our business to our clients. It wasn’t difficult to decide on “Hardwired to Help” as the basis of our philosophy, as it fits our values at all levels, whether it is in our dealings with each other, our children and grand children, our friends, or our work colleagues/ clients.
Our genuine desire to help and to work with our clients to make their lives better (at work and outside of work) is at the heart of all of our dealings. We don’t always get it 100% right, but we have a real go at learning from our mishaps and passing on those learnings to those who can most benefit from them.
Being successful at passing on the knowledge and capability that we have gained, over the journey of our experiences, and helping others to develop and grow is fundamental to the measurement of our success as a business and as people.
We have built up a body of knowledge through appropriate education (experiential and formal) and through the experience gained working in various industries and parts of Australia and bring that knowledge and experience to the benefit of our clients. We have experience of large corporate organisations as well as small/ large family based/ owned businesses and understand the needs and complexities of both.
We have also developed a small network of likeminded and very experienced associates who we call on in order to support larger or more complex projects, and to fulfil client requirements and expectations.

Add these qualifications to over 35 years work (and life) experience across locations in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and New South Wales; and in industries which include the Pastoral Industry, General Industry, Mining Industry and Consulting.
Roles covered include front line worker, overseer, workgroup leader/ manager, senior consultant and senior manager. Experience has been gained across diversified fields covering livestock management, mining operations, training and business process improvement, plus WH&S, HR and Quality systems auditing, design, implementation and management.
Max brings that knowledge and experience to his interactions with Viamax clients in order to help make a positive difference to their lives.
